NT50B01 SmartNIC by Napatech is a low-profile, high-performance SmartNIC designed for capture and virtualization applications. It supports 2×1/10G and 2×10/25G capabilities, providing real-time line-rate performance and full packet capture of network data at 50 Gbps with zero packet loss. NT50B01 SmartNIC ensures nanosecond precision time-stamping and merging of packets from multiple ports for correct timing and sequencing. It enables 100% packet replay with nanosecond precision for analytics, testing, and simulation. NT50B01 SmartNIC allows full utilization of CPU cores through advanced receive side scaling and supports tunneling protocols like GTP, IP-in-IP, NVGRE, and VxLAN. It can remove duplicate packets, slice packets, and filter packets to reduce data and offload the server system and applications. The SmartNIC supports stateful flow processing for up to 50 million flows, allowing CPU-hungry applications like Suricata to selectively process flows. Flow records are maintained and reported to the application. NT50B01 SmartNIC is NEBS level 3 compliant and is designed to save rack space and reduce overall costs by offloading virtual switching workloads, freeing CPU cycles for application processing. It features a proprietary full body heatsink for optimal thermal performance and includes state-of-the-art monitoring to track air temperature, voltage, and power consumption with an early warning system. The SmartNIC is based on a Xilinx Kintex UltraScale+ FPGA and can be reconfigured to support specific SmartNIC functionality, accommodating data growth and changing industry standards.
