NT200A02 SmartNIC by Napatech is a full-height, half-length QSFP28 PCIe card designed to enhance network performance and efficiency. Utilizing FPGA programmability, it can be reconfigured for specific SmartNIC functionality, add new features, and extend capacity for data growth and changing standards. NT200A02 offers hardware-based solutions for full Open vSwitch (OVS) offload, enhancing performance and reducing CPU consumption. It supports various applications and can be quickly qualified and deployed for virtualized applications. NT200A02 offloads significant data processing tasks, like encryption and compression, to increase performance by freeing up CPU cores. It provides insight into North-South and East-West traffic in the server without consuming CPU cores. NT200A02 can replicate traffic in hardware and send OVS mirror traffic to a virtual appliance or external analytics solution without consuming CPU cores. It is available with active or passive cooling, with the passive model being NEBS compliant to meet telco requirements. NT200A02 supports OpenStack, full OVS/DPDK offload, VirtIO with vDPA, DPDK+vDPA support, and live migration. It merges data from two ports into a single, time-ordered analysis stream and supports nanosecond precision time synchronization between multiple applications globally. The SmartNIC features a rigid housing for robustness, a blower for superior cooling, and a state-of-the-art monitoring system that tracks air temperature, voltage, and power consumption with an early warning system.
