NP-View by Network Perception is a lightweight, non-invasive network visualization platform designed for OT networks. It enables security teams to rapidly identify network vulnerabilities, assess risks, and ensure compliance. NP-View provides network visibility through automated topology map generation, helping to identify access and segmentation risks, maintain compliance, and ensure a high security posture without impacting operations. It supports a range of firewalls, routers, and switches commonly used in OT environments. NP-View operates as a read-only on-premises application that does not require any agents, sensors, or network taps on the OT network. It can assess an existing backup of network configuration files to generate a model of the network, providing detailed path analysis and alerts on overly permissive network configurations. NP-View runs on-premise and does not require outside internet connectivity. It supports Firewall, Router, and layer (3) Switch technologies from over 25 major manufacturers and can run in stand-alone Desktop mode or in a multi-user Server mode. NP-View is designed to run offline, meaning network connections to a public NTP server, local DNS server, and the Network Perception update server are optional and do not affect the system if the internet is unavailable.
