NoviMapper by NoviFlow is a programmable networking solution designed for deploying physical and virtual security services with low-latency and multi-Tbps speeds. It enables Communication Service Providers (CSPs) to monetize, manage, and scale 5G, cybersecurity, and other network services. NoviMapper simplifies edge network architecture by replacing hardware appliances and network TAPs with packet processing rules and software in the network switch, directing traffic to the appropriate services and applications to meet customer SLAs. It leverages programmable match-action pipelines on disaggregated hardware platforms and uses open standard interfaces like gRPC and P4Runtime. NoviMapper runs on standard servers and is deployed with select COTS switches using Intel Tofino to deliver a programmable network fabric in a scalable, compact form factor at a lower cost than conventional networking solutions. It provides dynamic scalability of cybersecurity functions and multi-server tool farms into the Terabit range, implements multiple service chains, and allows independent management of service programming. NoviMapper is ideal for stateful cybersecurity servers, DPI engines, and web content filtering clusters, and it supports performance up to 12.8Tbps in a single Intel Tofino or Tofino2-based P4 switch with port speeds up to 400 Gbps.
