NoviFabric by NoviFlow offers a secure carrier-grade proxy service with an integrated load balancer for elastic scaling to meet customer bandwidth requirements in real-time. NoviFabric's programmable forwarding plane solution adds SRv6 with support for SID and uSID (C-SID-NEXT) to its existing packet brokerage, load balancing, and network telemetry services, reducing costs for the Service Provider Edge by integrating these functions into an easy-to-manage solution. Deployed with Intel’s Barefoot Tofino programmable switch fabric and NoviFlow’s NoviWare Network Operating System, it leverages P4 as a programming language for Software Defined Networking. NoviFabric provides the ability to insert a Service Chain Proxy into an IPv6 Segment Routing network. A proxy service can direct traffic to security services like DDoS, Firewall, and IPS within a Segment Routing network to enhance protection. Using NoviFabric, Service Providers can insert various infrastructure services in an SRv6 network. The SRv6 SID linked to a Service Proxy identifies the hop location and the Service Policy to be executed. This functionality makes network services addressable resources available throughout the network. NoviFabric separates access to network services from their physical location, enabling efficient use of network services and optimal hardware resource utilization. It delivers high throughput and dynamically scalable network services into the Terabit/s range while reducing total customer network CAPEX and OPEX. By integrating SRv6 capability into NoviFabric, it efficiently addresses large deployments and enables cost-effective dynamic scaling to right-size capacity for variable demands. NoviFabric implements full SRv6 Service Gateway and Service Proxy functionality, with built-in load balancing and service chaining. It introduces a new variant of SRv6 binding segment allowing one or more network services to be bound to a service policy and segment ID (both SID and uSID / C-SID-NEXT). It acts as the orchestrator for an enforcement point for the service policy and invokes in order the network services defined in the service policy. It load balances one or more pools of physical (PNF) or virtual (VNF) network services. NoviFabric supports both remote API calls and a CLI for configuration. It is based on white-box OCP compliant hardware, allowing sourcing from own supply channels. NoviAnalytics for NoviFabric allows operators to monitor over 75 hardware sensors, OS log files, and application messages to understand the operational health of NoviFabric. This aids in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for higher uptime. NoviDashboard offers a unified view to monitor the entire NoviFabric fleet with real-time updates on platform health. If a sensor reports a fault or out of tolerance, live historical data for troubleshooting is available within two clicks.
