NoviBroker by NoviFlow is a next-generation solution designed to upgrade traffic aggregation functions to handle multiple terabits of throughput. It is a cost-effective traffic aggregator with up to 12.8 Tbps of throughput, supporting interface speeds from 10G to 400G for maximum compatibility with existing network infrastructure. NoviBroker provides a flexible packet broker and network visibility solution to ensure the right traffic is directed from the network to the appropriate network analysis tools at line rate. At the core of NoviBroker is the FlowAgent pipeline, which features fine-grain control for setting up streams of interest. The FlowAgent pipeline includes four separate stages, allowing the creation of streams that can be virtually wired into multiple stream aggregates. The toolsets agent at the end of the FlowAgent pipeline enables output to a single port, mirroring to multiple ports, or load balancing across multiple visibility/security tools. NoviAnalytics for NoviBroker allows operators to monitor over 75 different hardware sensors, OS log files, and application messages to understand the operational health of NoviBroker. NoviDashboard provides real-time monitoring of the NoviBroker fleet, offering indicators of platform health and historical data for troubleshooting. NoviBroker is built on Intel's Tofino switching silicon, offering advanced capabilities with 8 Tbps of core throughput and interfaces from 10G to 400G. The hardware can be sourced directly with Edgecore or bundled with NoviFlow’s software. NoviBroker supports both remote API calls and local CLI for pipeline configuration, and it is based on white-box OCP compliant hardware. The traffic aggregator can be programmed in a human-readable object-oriented environment, simplifying deployment and eliminating the need for custom configurations. An advanced parsing engine allows for parsing of outer and inner headers of encapsulated packets, with multiple stages improving flexibility and enabling reuse of previously crafted rules.
