NITROX V by Marvell is a security processor family that integrates up to 288 security cores combined with high-performance compression engines and virtualization hardware. It functions as a cryptographic offload engine and security co-processor accelerator integrated into OCTEON TX2 processors, designed for enterprise and virtualized cloud data center environments. The processor supports PCI-Express Gen 3 and Interlaken interfaces, delivering hardware acceleration for asymmetric and symmetric cryptographic operations, along with deep packet inspection (DPI) capabilities. The solution can be deployed either as standalone chips for customer devices or as PCIe adapter cards for servers and appliances, supporting security processing capabilities for cloud data center servers, networking equipment, enterprise and service provider equipment, including servers, Application Delivery Controllers, UTM Gateways, WAN Optimization Appliances, routers, and switches.
