My OPSWAT Central Management is a centralized administration platform for remotely managing multiple OPSWAT product instances, including MetaDefender Core, Kiosk, Endpoint, and Drive. It connects distributed deployments across cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped network configurations, providing a single interface for configuration management, real-time health monitoring, license allocation, and phased product updates. The system functions as a secure API gateway, authenticating and routing API requests to connected products without requiring direct inbound traffic to individual instances. It also serves as an internal update distribution hub for managed products lacking internet access and centralizes the management of security rules, such as Yara and file hashes.
The platform enforces security policies through a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) model, granting application-level access based on verified user identities and continuous device posture checks. It performs device enrollment and inventory, dynamically assigns network devices to VLANs, applies Access Control Lists (ACLs), and supports role-based access control (RBAC), SAML 2.0 directory integrations, and multi-factor authentication. My OPSWAT Central Management aggregates data such as scan verdicts, processing histories, and device telemetry from all connected nodes for reporting, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment, with configurable data retention for audit trails. It is available for self-hosted deployment on Windows and Linux or as a cloud-hosted service and is manageable via REST APIs.
