BIO-key MobilePOS Pro is a handheld, all-in-one smart point-of-sale (POS) terminal featuring an inbuilt FBI-certified capacitive fingerprint module for biometric identification and verification. Developed primarily for the payment industry, the hardware device supports various use cases including microfinance, SIM registration, and inventory management. The terminal operates on the Android 7.0 Security Payment OS and utilizes a 4-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of Flash memory.
The device includes a 5.5-inch capacitive color touch screen, a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera for 1D and 2D code scanning, and a high-speed thermal graphic printer. It supports multiple payment methods, including IC cards, magnetic stripe cards, NFC, and QR/barcodes, alongside contactless mobile wallets.
