MetaDefender Industrial Firewall (MD-IF-4P) is a ruggedized hardware appliance designed to provide active protection for critical operational technology (OT), industrial control systems (ICS), and cyber-physical systems. The device meets the demands of mission-critical infrastructure by offering network security, routing, switching, and intrusion prevention capabilities.
The firewall functions inline to protect assets in process control areas and includes denial of service (DoS) protection filters. It integrates natively with MetaDefender OT Security to establish a unified platform for asset inventory and intrusion detection and prevention (IDPS).
