The Harmonic MCP Gateway is a locally installed, lightweight software deployment designed to operate across multiple operating systems. It provides visibility and control over an organization's agentic AI ecosystem by transparently intercepting Model Context Protocol (MCP) traffic. This function allows the gateway to discover active MCP clients and servers.
Through this interception, the gateway enforces granular security policies and policies of least agency, while applying sensitive data models to prevent the exposure of intellectual property and unstructured data. It logs agent and server invocations for forensic analysis. When sensitive data is detected, the gateway blocks the unauthorized action and provides contextual feedback to the MCP client, guiding it toward alternative operations.
