MBsecure+ is a hardware gateway that provides Human-Machine Interface (HMI) application servers with visibility into SCADA/ICS protocols without requiring physical access to the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The device acts as a hardware bridge between two LINUX units, acquiring PLC data over TCP/IP and distributing it to networks of varying security classifications.
The appliance isolates the PLC at the physical OSI Layer-1 and Layer-2 levels without utilizing a CPU, software, or an IP address. This unidirectional downstream data transmission prevents access to the PLC from the HMI network while supporting industrial communication protocols across energy, water, automotive, and other utility sectors.
