Hyperscale network security orchestration: Check Point Maestro is an orchestration architecture that lets multiple security gateways operate as a single, elastic security system, scaling threat prevention performance far beyond what an individual appliance can deliver.

Scaling of security gateways into a single logical unit: Maestro combines many physical gateway appliances into one logical Security Group that is managed and behaves as if it were a single large gateway, hiding the underlying scale-out from operators.

Active-active gateway clustering: The gateways within a Security Group operate in an active-active arrangement so that all members process traffic simultaneously, maximizing utilization of the combined hardware.

Load distribution across security gateway group: The Maestro Orchestrator distributes incoming traffic across the member gateways, balancing the load so that aggregate throughput scales with the number of appliances in the group.

Elastic scaling (add/remove gateways on demand): Capacity can be increased or decreased by adding or removing gateway appliances from a Security Group on demand, allowing the security system to grow with traffic needs without redesign.
