Lumen for WinGate by WinGate (Qbik) is an optional add-on to WinGate 9 that provides URL classification for web access control rules. It simplifies management by controlling access by category compared to lists of permitted or blocked sites. Lumen for WinGate accesses a database with over 32 billion classified URLs/domains, 180 content-related and 14 security-related categories, and categorizes over 99% of the active web. It handles over 20 billion transactions daily from over 500,000 sensors and 800 million global endpoints, blocking over 150 million threats each day. A built-in updater downloads database updates several times a day, ensuring the database remains up to date and accurate with the help of different content analysis engines and a team of reviewers.
