KOBRA VS by DIGITTRADE GmbH is a series of external encrypted storage devices including USB-C sticks and hard drives/SSDs. These devices are designed for secure storage, retention, and transport of sensitive data classified up to VS-NfD, RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED, and NATO RESTRICTED levels. KOBRA VS devices use full-disk hardware encryption with 256-bit AES in XTS mode, employing two 256-bit cryptographic keys. They feature a patented two-factor authentication system using a smartcard and PIN entry via the device's keypad. KOBRA VS devices are certified by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for handling classified information.
