iShredder Mobile Enterprise by ProtectStar is a secure data erasure solution designed for iOS and Android devices, introduced in 2011. It is capable of simultaneously wiping 25 to 1000 mobile devices, making it ideal for businesses such as recycling companies, mobile device resellers, leasing companies, and large corporations. The software employs data shredding techniques that exceed international standards and is trusted by government agencies and defense ministries. It utilizes ProtectStar's Advanced Secure Deletion Algorithm, which includes a four-step process: overwriting data with a pattern, encrypting blocks using 256-bit AES, verifying written data and securely deleting it with a unique pattern, and overwriting all data with a random pattern using high-quality random numbers based on Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS). After wiping, iShredder Mobile Enterprise resets the iOS device and installs a new Apple iOS operating system. The software is available for Windows and includes 18 certified erasure algorithms.
