iSecurity Anti-Virus by Software Engineering of America detects and quarantines infected Integrated File System (IFS) files on IBM i servers, helping to keep viruses away from your network, PCs, and servers. It prevents IBM i IFS from becoming an infection source, scans IFS objects before and/or after use, and includes a built-in scheduler for planned IFS virus scanning. Notifications can be sent via email and SMS when a virus is detected. It maintains historical logs of virus activity and scanned objects for review and analysis. iSecurity Anti-Virus uses automatic, regularly updated virus signatures with the Cisco ClamAV open-source engine. Its signature file is frequently updated, often before many commercial files. Antivirus reports can be emailed, and alerts are sent for each signature database update and scheduled file scan. History logs are available for review and analysis of antivirus and malware activity. Using its iCAP client, iSecurity Anti-Virus can migrate the virus scanning process outside the IBM i to external ICAP servers, freeing up IBM i resources and reducing the overall impact on system performance.
