The IoT Auth Platform OTAC is an authentication solution designed for Internet of Things (IoT) devices and microservices environments. It utilizes a One-Time Authentication Code (OTAC) technology, under 4KB, to generate dynamic codes for every connection and command, providing one-way user and device identification across end-to-end infrastructures. This process protects connected assets from unauthorized access and control. The platform supports low-specification and low-power devices through an OTAC Applet embedded in SIM, eSIM, iSIM cards, or directly within device firmware.
In addition to securing device communications, the platform secures firmware upgrades by using file hashes as seeds for OTAC generation, which blocks malicious software downloads. It is engineered to streamline authentication turnaround times and reduce the resource burden associated with continuous network verification. Deployment models include on-premise installations for telecommunication operators and a cloud-based service with an API gateway.
