IoT Auth Platform OTAC by SSenStone is a security solution designed for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. It provides a secure IoT communication environment by utilizing dynamic, one-time authentication codes (OTACs) that change with each connection and command, preventing device hacking and unauthorized control. The platform is based on SSenStone's lightweight OTAC technology, which is less than 4KB in size, allowing implementation on low-spec IoT devices without significant CPU load or power consumption. It can be installed on SIM cards, embedded in device firmware, or integrated into ultra-small IC chips to implement robust end-to-end IoT authentication and control command protection. The solution securely transports control server commands to devices and blocks the execution of invalid control commands. OTAC generates unique, non-reusable codes for each device periodically, enhancing security and ensuring a 0% chance of code collision between users or devices. The platform stores biometric data locally on devices rather than servers, further enhancing security.
