IntellaTap-VM is a software solution for virtual machine data monitoring. It automatically collects and organizes communication between virtual machines, filtering and encapsulating traffic from virtual networks before sending that traffic to monitoring tools using GRE tunneling. The solution applies virtual traffic capture points in the virtual network for continuous monitoring and provides point-and-click filtering of East-West virtual machine traffic flows. IntellaTap-VM works with IntellaView Enterprise and IntellaView Enterprise Lite to deliver monitoring of both virtual and physical network traffic. The solution is compatible with NSX Manager, Cisco vCenter, and other platforms, and scales from 10 to hundreds of VM deployments. It addresses East-West traffic between VMs that remains within the virtual environment and does not traverse the physical network where traditional monitoring technologies are deployed. The solution unifies virtual and physical monitoring in a single user interface.
