HD-3XTL Degausser by Garner Products is a fast, high-volume, workhorse degausser designed to completely and permanently erase all data on high-coercivity hard drives and tape up to 1.7 inches in height. It generates a magnetic field of 10,000 gauss (1 tesla) and includes SCAN-1X verification software to create a media destruction report as it degausses. The HD-3XTL is compact and automatic, initiating the degauss cycle as soon as the media is inserted into the slot. The degaussing process takes only 3 seconds, making it an efficient solution for secure data elimination. It is ETL listed and certified to UL, IEC, CSA, CE, KC, and RCM standards, and is TAA compliant. The HD-3XTL is portable with an optional custom shipping case or smooth-rolling cart, and it plugs into a standard wall outlet worldwide. It is designed for continuous duty and includes built-in field verification systems and on-board diagnostics to confirm the magnetic field strength of every cycle, ensuring complete erasure every time. The HD-3XTL also features an LCD display that provides numerical values of gauss field strength, cycle count, job count, and diagnostics. It supports erasure of working and non-working hard drives and various tape media, and it is capable of erasing up to 450 standard and full-height hard drives per hour or up to 4,500 bundled laptop drives per hour.
