Sangfor HCI (Hyperconverged Infrastructure) is a 3rd generation cloud computing platform that consolidates compute, storage, networking, and security components into a unified software stack running on commercial off-the-shelf x86 servers. Operating as both a software-defined data center solution and cloud infrastructure foundation, it integrates with Sangfor Cloud Platform (SCP) to enable private, public, and hybrid cloud deployments. The system delivers 1 million IOPS with 3 nodes and includes native high availability, integrated backup, continuous data protection, and disaster recovery capabilities. Supporting both traditional virtual machines and containerized workloads through Sangfor Kubernetes Engine (SKE), it provides block storage functionality that can be complemented by Sangfor aStor for additional block, file, and object storage. The architecture implements data striping, SSD caching, tiering, RDMA, DPDK Turbo, and SR-IOV technologies while utilizing identical technology stacks for both on-premises and managed cloud environments to enable workload portability.
