The DataLocker H300 is a portable, hardware-encrypted hard drive available in 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities. Housed in a tamper-resistant aluminum enclosure, the device connects via USB 3.2 Gen 1 and utilizes a FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated Bluefly Security Processor with AES-256-bit XTS encryption to protect data at rest. The drive delivers read and write speeds between 90 MB/s and 130 MB/s and features a multi-color LED system indicating operational, power, and authentication states. Hardware-level access controls include built-in password protection with a ten-attempt limit that triggers permanent self-destruct upon failure, along with automatic data locking upon device removal. The device operates across Windows, macOS, Linux, and Citrix environments using the DataLocker Unified Client software, and complies with regulatory standards including TAA, RoHS, FCC, CE, and VPAT.
The H300 is offered in Basic and Enterprise editions. The Basic edition supports standalone operation, while the Enterprise edition enables centralized deployment through DataLocker SafeConsole or IronKey EMS Cloud/On-Prem software via per-seat licensing. Enterprise management allows administrators to remotely enforce password policies, apply anti-malware and geofencing rules, audit device activity, and execute remote lock, wipe, or permanent detonation actions. Additional enterprise features include custom unlock messages, password-reset tokens, and SHA-2 root Certificate Authority support for secure SSL server communication. Device maintenance, firmware updates, and administrative migrations require a physical 64-bit Windows host environment.
