GateScanner USB Kiosk by Sasa Software is a free-standing cybersecurity station designed for secure file import from USB devices. It isolates rogue devices and uses advanced Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) technology to eliminate known and unknown malicious code in incoming files. GateScanner USB Kiosk can be deployed as a stand-alone unit or in a networked configuration with central management. It supports hundreds of file types, including MS Office suite, PDF, media files, archives, PST, OST, eml, installation files, executables, XML, HTML, other text files, medical imaging files (DICOM), password-protected, and customized files. The kiosk features a tamper-proof, hardened physical appliance that prevents device-based attacks and returns to a zero state after each scan. It includes detailed activity reports with drill-down to single events, interfaces with SIEM/Syslog, automated updates, and a multilingual touchscreen UI. GateScanner USB Kiosk supports unlimited task sizes for uninterrupted scanning of TB+ sized media and offers central administration of multiple, distributed systems. It can be coupled with data diodes, such as GateScanner Injector, to support network isolation/segmentation and cross-domain solutions (CDS). The kiosk also provides IT teams with managed file-export control, offering policy-based file redaction to prevent data loss/exfiltration and ensure data protection and GDPR compliance.
