GateScanner Injector by Sasa Software complements the GateScanner suite of network security tools with a unidirectional diode-based gateway. Unidirectional gateways, or optical data diodes, are devices that allow data to travel in one direction only, preventing data extraction from the destination network. They support network segmentation required by cybersecurity frameworks like the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). Networks of varying security levels can be implemented to achieve highly-secure, physically isolated network environments required for the protection of critical systems and assets. GateScanner Injector integrates seamlessly with other GateScanner products to offer a complete data-sanitization and DLP solution at the gateway. It is installed on Windows (Receiver requires >100Mb SSD and Windows 2012 R2 Server installed). It includes transmission verification options like 'Network Restrain' and 'Double Send' to minimize packet loss. It supports automatic hourly transmission between specified directories, email notifications, activity logging, and user-scheduled retention periods for transmitted and failed files. User-defined size limits for transmit and receive directories with email alerts when size limits are reached are also supported. Supported protocols include SMB, Syslog, SMTP, STMP, TCP, and UDP. GateScanner Injector features 100/1000 Base Copper-to-Fiber conversion via optical transmitter and receiver, and control software. Transfer rates are 1Gb (up to 120Gb/hr) and 100Mb (up to 35Gb/hr). It is supplied with Tx + Rx Hardware, Optical cable (100Mb / 1Gb), and Tx + Rx Software.
