Färist VPN by Tutus is an approved VPN encryption solution designed for secure communication over IP networks to protect sensitive and confidential information. It offers strong encryption and is scalable, available in multiple sizes and form factors. Färist VPN is suitable for environments requiring compliance with the NIS directive and has been developed in close collaboration with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration and the Armed Forces. It is approved for the classification level Restricted as an individual component and as part of a Färist Mobile system in several EU countries. Färist VPN also exists in a specific Swedish version (Sigrid/PGAI, Kryapp 9411) approved for signals protection (SG R) to protect classified information up to and including limited secret. It has been certified in accordance with Common Criteria EAL 5+. Färist VPN is based on IPSEC and MACSEC and supports digital certificates for automatic key exchange. Encryption is performed with AES with 256-bit keys, and encryption keys are uploaded using smart cards or USB. The system provides perfect forward secrecy. The centralized administration tool, CAdmin, enables easy management of all Tutus Färist units, both locally and remotely. It supports the establishment of networks with multiple encryption devices and is user-friendly for configuring and managing even the most complex networks.
