The FPC1610 is an optical fingerprint sensor designed to be mounted under the display of smartphones. It features a slim form factor that enables placement between the battery and the display, allowing for integration without impacting device thickness or battery size. The sensor was developed by Fingerprint Cards AB and prototypes were evaluated by smartphone manufacturers in 2019.
