StrongKey FIDO Server (SKFS) is an open-source, enterprise-grade, FIDO-certified server designed to provide passwordless strong authentication for web and mobile applications. It functions as an identity provider (IDP) within a single sign-on (SSO) environment, leveraging SAML and JWT tokens to authorize strongly authenticated users, eliminating the need for passwords and mitigating phishing and man-in-the-middle attacks.
The server supports integration via REST and SOAP web services, offering features such as a policy module for enforcing security outside applications, transaction confirmation for Android devices, and built-in high availability and disaster recovery. It is authenticator-agnostic, working with any FIDO2-supported device, and integrates natively with directory services like LDAP and Active Directory.
