Fanuc Focas-based Data Pipeline is a software solution that integrates Fanuc Focas library access with the Blocmount Data Analytics Pipeline (DAP) to collect machine-level data from Fanuc controllers. The application connects to machines via Ethernet or a network switch, polls parameters such as machine state, axis positions, servo motor load, and spindle speed at configurable intervals, and transmits the data to Amazon Web Services using the AWS SDK and a Lambda function. The data is stored in a time‑series InfluxDB for real‑time processing and querying.
The collected data is visualized through Grafana dashboards hosted on AWS, which securely retrieve information from the InfluxDB and display live machine metrics along with analytics results such as predictions and alerts. Fanuc Focas-based Data Pipeline supports notification delivery via email, text messages, or Microsoft Teams, enabling operators and maintenance personnel to receive timely information for predictive maintenance and troubleshooting.
