FaceStation 2 by BioConnect is a multimodal terminal designed for facial authentication access control. It offers facial recognition capabilities in various lighting conditions, including dim environments, due to its IR recognition technology. The device is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. FaceStation 2 provides contactless solutions with remote user enrollment, mask detection, and face recognition for users wearing masks. It can be combined with a Thermal Camera to identify people with elevated skin temperature. The device uses Fusion Matching technology, which combines IR and visual face recognition with a deep learning algorithm for authentication accuracy and anti-spoofing performance. FaceStation 2 supports multiple authentication methods including face recognition, fingerprint authentication, card access, and mobile access.
