F2070X IPU by Napatech is a 2x100Gbe PCIe card designed for network, storage, and security offload and acceleration. It features an Intel Agilex AGFC023 FPGA and an Intel Xeon D SoC, providing unique offload capabilities. The F2070X IPU supports virtualized cloud, cloud-native, or bare-metal server virtualization with tenant isolation. It offers programmable hardware and software to customize the IPU for specific network needs and enhance its capabilities over time. The IPU is based on the Intel Application Stack Acceleration Framework (ASAF) that supports integration of software and IP from Intel, Napatech, third parties, and homegrown solutions. The F2070X IPU features a standard configuration with support for various Intel FPGAs, Xeon D processors, and memory, allowing tailored platform configurations for specific use cases. It maximizes data center storage performance based on NVME over TCP, security performance based on TLS encryption, and networking performance for Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms. The IPU includes a USB Management Port connected to the Xeon CPU, supporting USB boot device, and a monitoring system that tracks air temperature, voltage, and power consumption. It supports PCIe Gen4 x16 for up to 256 Gbps data transfer between IPU and server applications. The high-speed 2-port QSFP56 network interfaces support 2×10/25G, 8×10/25G, 2x100G. The IPU design maximizes mechanical and electrical front port margin for trouble-free operation with optical or electrical modules. The thermal design dissipates the maximum power level as standardized for the form factor. The IPU is compliant with high quality, environmental, and safety standards, ensuring seamless integration and error-free operation throughout the product life cycle.
