Excalibur by Excalibur is a Cyber-Security as a Service solution designed to secure applications, services, systems, and websites through the cloud. It eliminates the need for passwords and constant updates by utilizing the user’s smartphone as a secure hardware token for authentication and authorization. Excalibur aims to transition all forms of authentication and authorization to smartphone-based, user-friendly multi-factor authentication. It provides backward compatibility with all applications, Operating Systems (OS), and services, bridging the password-based present and password-free future. A core innovation is its ability to defeat all attacks on credentials by automatically changing a password with each login. The user never enters the password; it is a random string used in the background, seamlessly injected into the login process. Excalibur connects to targets over SSH tunnels, eliminating direct connectivity and reducing vulnerabilities. All user activity is monitored, recorded, and indexed, providing complete auditability. Excalibur introduces 'Streamed access management' (SAM), which monitors, records, and indexes all user activity, making it fully searchable with zero deniability of actions. It also supports 4-eye verification for sensitive actions, requiring confirmation by an additional individual.
