EPDS (Enterprise Perimeter Defense Solution) by Owl Cyber Defense maintains process control network isolation while enabling critical information sharing with networks outside the electronic security perimeter. EPDS consists of a pair of Dell PowerEdge servers and integrates Owl's separate source and destination communication cards into two commercial enterprise servers, allowing for redundant power supplies, hard drives, and other redundancy options. It uses a hardened Linux operating system for server self-protection. EPDS supports simultaneous FTP, SFTP, SMTP, TCP/IP packet transfer, and UDP datagram transfer, including streaming video and sensor data. EPDS is highly scalable and supports a maximum throughput of 10 Gbps.
