Quantum Optics ELVIS utilizes polarization entangled photon pairs at wavelengths of 800 nm, 1300 nm, and 1500 nm to secure communication channels through quantum key distribution (QKD). The system features modular components including an entangled photon pair source, polarization analyzing modules, and quantum protocol implementation based on BBM92 protocol. Supporting both fiber-based networks and free-space applications, it delivers secure key rates exceeding 1,500 bits per second under 10 dB loss conditions. The system includes real-time analysis software, key management, and automated polarization control, achieving high fidelity above 92% and low quantum bit error rates below 9%. Compatible with SKIP and ETSI QKD 014 protocols, ELVIS integrates with existing IT infrastructures for securing data centers, communication networks, and experimental setups.
