The EdgeSwitch is a high-density 1RU network visibility appliance that aggregates, filters, and sends network traffic to security and monitoring tools. The system features 32 ports of 40G/100G Ethernet capability, with breakout mode supporting up to 128 ports of 10G/25G. The EdgeSwitch performs traffic aggregation, filtering, load balancing, tunnel management, and port tagging either as a standalone device or as part of a larger network visibility infrastructure. The device integrates aggregation and filtering technology on a high-density platform and provides distributed access into IntellaFlex XR monitoring systems. The EdgeSwitch enables data centers, campuses, and branch offices to aggregate, filter, and distribute network traffic to security tools. In distributed data center environments, the EdgeSwitch can be deployed at the top of rack for end-of-row traffic aggregation, reducing cabling requirements across data center floors and improving traffic distribution efficiency to security tools.
