DxOdyssey is a software-defined perimeter (SDP) solution that serves as a standalone replacement for traditional virtual private networks (VPNs). It provides infrastructure-agnostic, direct-connect Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) tunnels to secure connections across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. The software operates strictly outside of the organization's data path, connecting servers, IoT devices, containers, applications, and users without requiring network reconfiguration or centralized routing appliances.
The platform enables application-level access control for workloads such as RDP and SSH connections, and secures network data using full DTLS encryption with no open ports. It utilizes a patented hybrid TCP-UDP data transport method designed to improve throughput, and features seamless Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal alongside highly available endpoints with automatic failover capabilities.
