DSHA2-512 by Digital Core Design is a hash and HMAC functions accelerator that efficiently accelerates the SHA2-512 hash function. It bridges to APB, AHB, and AXI buses and is compliant with FIPS PUB 180-4. DSHA2-512 computes message digests in either hash or HMAC mode with input message lengths up to 2^64 - 1 bits. It natively supports SHA2-512 HMAC, a cryptographic function defined in RFC 2104. DSHA2-512 is suitable for data integrity verification in digital signature protocols and secure communication, and may also be used in cryptocurrency computations. It offers a context-swapping feature for complex systems with task preemption mechanisms.
