Dr.Web Mail Security Suite provides anti-virus and anti-spam email filtering for mail servers. The solution checks email messages directly on the mail server and uses Origins Tracing non-signature technology, heuristic analysis, Dr.Web Cloud, and machine learning-based routines to detect unknown malicious programs. The software detects malicious objects compressed with multiple packers and offers adjustable scanning parameters including maximum size and types of objects to scan, with customizable actions for infected objects. The anti-spam component uses rules to analyze email messages and recognize features characteristic of spam mailings, utilizing blacklists, whitelists, data from DNSBL servers, and DKIM technology to filter messages. The solution identifies spam messages in multiple languages and begins protecting immediately upon installation without requiring training. Actions can be customized for different categories of spam. The suite supports mail servers and operates on Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris operating systems. System administrators can manage security via web interface, centralized corporate anti-virus protection system, or by directly editing configuration files.
