Dr.Web ATM Shield provides centralized anti-virus protection for ATMs, payment terminals, and multi kiosks powered by embedded editions of Windows. The product supports conventional operating systems including Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8, as well as Windows XP Embedded, Windows 7 Embedded, and Windows 8 Embedded. The solution incorporates tools for centrally managing all anti-virus protection components of embedded systems, including deployment, virus database and software module updates, and status-monitoring for all protected network hosts. Administrators can control anti-virus protection through a web interface from anywhere on the Internet or local network, schedule regular scans and virus database updates, and adjust software settings. Dr.Web ATM Shield can run on an embedded device with just 512 MB of RAM. The product has two types of updates: virus database updates that don't require system restarts, and updates for basic components including drivers.
