idwall's Document Data Extraction (OCR) solution assesses the legibility of document images such as ID cards, driver's licenses, and CRLVs (Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate) and extracts information through a digital and automated process based on proprietary algorithms. The technology uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract data from driver's licenses (CNH) and identity documents (RG) in an automated manner, and executes several checks to ensure document integrity. The system identifies and classifies document types, analyzes image quality, automatically rejects photos that are not documents, and categorizes document data. The system detects whether a document exists in the submitted photo and whether it corresponds to a CNH, RG, or CRLV, and indicates whether the photo is of the front or back of the document. The technology performs pre-processing to improve image data, eliminating distortions and enhancing information present in the document.
