DNSharmony is a passive DNS (pDNS) intelligence aggregation service developed by ADAMnetworks that consolidates multiple pDNS resolvers and threat-intelligence sources into a unified platform. The service performs redundant DNS resolution and parallel queries to maintain uptime and reduce latency when upstream resolvers fail. It aggregates both open-source feeds—including Cloudflare, Quad9, CleanBrowsing, and AdGuard—and commercial services, enabling users to create composite intelligence feeds through preset configurations, custom third-party resolvers, or Umbrella integration. The platform serves as a resolver of last resort within the adam:ONE architecture, supplying real-time threat intelligence for DNS queries.
DNSharmony continuously validates previously trusted domains to detect if they have become malicious after initial approval, functioning as a final verification step within the protection flow. This cross-checking capability integrates with ADAMnetworks' Zero Trust Connectivity solutions to verify allowed connections against aggregated threat intelligence. The service provides centralized logging and analytics for enterprise-wide visibility and compliance, with ongoing domain reputation assessment supported by multiple resolver sources.
