Distributed Symmetric Key Establishment (DSKE) by Quantum Bridge delivers symmetric key distribution technology that achieves secure key management at scale, without asymmetric encryption. It automates the creation and distribution of symmetric keys, addressing the issues of legacy key management processes. DSKE combines the scalability of PKI, the security of quantum key distribution (QKD), and the simplicity of pre-shared keys. It ensures secure symmetric key distribution, protecting against both quantum and classical attacks. DSKE easily scales to thousands of sites and supports any number of network devices. It integrates seamlessly with existing systems and encryption protocols, including post-quantum cryptography and quantum key distribution systems. DSKE relies on pre-shared random numbers between clients and a group of Security Hubs, allowing any group of clients to distill a secret key from these numbers. The clients are protected from Security Hub compromise via a secret sharing scheme that allows the creation of the final key without trusting individual Security Hubs.
