DataLocker AlphaCam is a TAA-compliant webcam series designed for use in government, federal agencies, and secure business environments. The AlphaCam H model provides Full HD 1080p video at up to 30 fps, an integrated high-quality microphone, and a built-in privacy cover. It connects via USB-A or USB-C (with a converter included) using a high-speed USB 2.0 or higher UVC interface, and operates on Windows 7/8/10, macOS 10.7 or later, Linux 2.6.24 or later, and Chrome OS. The camera dimensions are 58 × 40 mm (58 × 69 mm with cradle) and it weighs approximately 0.2 lb (3.29 oz). The AlphaCam H2 offers the same video specifications and physical features but omits the microphone, providing a microphone-free solution for environments where audio capture is prohibited.
Both models support standard video-conferencing platforms such as Skype for Business, Teams, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, and others, and include a privacy shutter for physical lens protection.
