The ProDevice DAC system is a combined hardware solution designed for the two-step secure destruction of data storage media. The system integrates a magnetic degausser and a mechanical shredder into a single continuous workflow, allowing magnetic media to be wiped and then physically cut into small pieces. The automated process routes the degaussed media directly into the shredding chamber, eliminating the need to manually transfer items between two standalone devices.
Designed for environments requiring high-volume processing, the system is capable of processing up to 3,000 various data media per hour, with a specific throughput of up to 250 hard disk drives (HDDs) per hour. It supports compliance with multiple international data security and privacy regulations by completely destroying the media and generating verifiable reports of the process through barcode scanning and media capture.
