CyberMapper by NoviFlow integrates Software Defined Networking (SDN) with Fortinet Security Fabric, providing terabit capacity and dynamic scaling to meet growing demand and threats, while reducing customer network CAPEX and OPEX. It uses open APIs, authentication technology, and standardized telemetry data to integrate with NoviFlow CyberMapper, providing automated and integrated security. CyberMapper delivers optimized load balancing, packet brokering, and telemetry acquisition functions without requiring physical taps. It empowers network providers to leverage the network/cloud edge as an intelligent resource that pre-processes traffic to optimize information flows and utilize network resources effectively, reducing hardware costs, operating expenditures, and energy utilization. CyberMapper uses the disaggregation of data and control planes to scale independently, allowing for greater modularity and real-time redistribution of network resources as demand fluctuates. It transforms networks from proprietary and virtualized infrastructure to programmable, cloud-enabled solutions on white-box hardware. CyberMapper integrates networking functions like load balancing, service chaining, and packet brokering. It is customizable for security needs, matches and acts on anything in the header, implements powerful filtering and mitigation policies, and steers flows as desired. It scales out existing cybersecurity services, accelerates security stack performance by off-loading services, and protects “State” in fail-over or dynamic scaling processes. CyberMapper replaces high-end, expensive solutions and increases throughput of existing clusters by filtering traffic before it reaches the network. It provides dynamic scalability of cybersecurity functions and multi-server tool farms into the Terabit range. CyberMapper is deployed with select COTS switches using Intel Tofino to deliver a programmable network fabric in a scalable, compact form factor at a lower cost than conventional networking solutions.
