Cyber-diode by genua enables one-way data transfers to a control center, securely protected from unauthorized access and reliably transmitted through status messages. It controls network connections and only allows one-way data transfers, while blocking any information flow in the opposite direction. Cyber-diode guarantees absolutely reliable data transmission through a minimal feedback channel for status messages. At the end of each transmission, the receiver reports back to the sender whether all data has been received correctly and completely. The feedback consists only of a status bit (OK/not OK) per connection. Cyber-diode supports TCP, UDP protocols for Syslog, and built-in adapters for FTP for file transfers and SMTP for emails. It is programmed minimally, running on a microkernel operating system that is reduced to the essentials. The compact construction guarantees reliable one-way data transfers. Cyber-diode is approved by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for use up to the high confidentiality level SECRET. It fully supports the OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA), ensuring secure, reliable, manufacturer- and platform-independent communication. The hardware is suitable for space-saving DIN Rail or 19'' rack enclosures and offers UEFI and Secure Boot support. It can be expanded for connections via mobile (LTE) and WLAN.
