CryptoWeb by CryptoMagic enhances the security of HTTPS connections by utilizing integrated security features of current browsers. CryptoWeb creates client certificates in addition to server certificates, allowing the server to verify it is communicating with the correct client. It can be configured to allow access to web applications only for users with valid client certificates. CryptoWeb operates without passwords but allows their use if desired. If a third party intercepts a password, data remains protected by one or more authentication factors. CryptoWeb is positioned on the server side between the web server and client PC, enriching requests from identified clients with authentication information. It requires no software, installation, or plug-ins on the client side and is supported by all major browsers, including mobile devices.
