CryptoSpike learns the system's behavior within hours of deployment, providing protection against ransomware attacks. It detects suspicious user behavior, such as excessive file encryption, changes, copying, or moving within a set timeframe, and blocks the user to stop the attack and prevent further damage. Alerts are sent to predefined users. CryptoSpike provides a complete picture of which files have been manipulated by which user and allows changes to these files directly within CryptoSpike using an ONTAP undo snapshot.
