Reliability
Uses Erlang for carrier-grade reliability, scalability, and redundancy. Stores all system state in a distributed database across multiple hosts via VPN interconnects, enabling creation of distributed, private, fault-tolerant, non-stop CryptoPhone IP networks. Allows server updates at runtime without interrupting communications.

Presence Server
Maintains regular contact with all GSMK CryptoPhone devices on the private network to ensure reachability. Serves as the contact point between individual CryptoPhones. Checks if called phones are online, notifies of incoming calls, and requests trunk connections from the trunk server.

Trunk Server
Connects end-to-end encrypted data streams between two GSMK CryptoPhones. Sets up and maintains connections until calls end. Supports different trunks for messages and streaming data.

Administration Interface
Provides a web-based user interface for straightforward administration of private server infrastructure. Allows administrators to add and remove users manually or based on configured rule sets. Controls access to the private network.
