CRYHOD is a terminal and drive encryption software solution designed to secure workstations, laptops, external storage devices, and virtual machines against data compromise due to hardware loss or theft. The system employs Full Disk Encryption (FDE) combined with Pre-Boot Authentication (PBA), ensuring that all disk partitions are encrypted and only accessible to authenticated users from the moment a device is powered on.
The software operates transparently to the end user by performing on-the-fly decryption and encryption of partition sectors in the background. It supports Single Sign-On (SSO) to automatically initiate user sessions after pre-boot authentication. Administrators can deploy and manage CRYHOD using the ONEPX central console, which handles corporate security policy configuration and compliance monitoring across the infrastructure.
